Treasurers Beth Pearce And Don Stenberg honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA), an affiliate of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST), announced that Vermont State Treasurer Beth Pearce and Nebraska State Treasurer Don Stenberg were each awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual NAST Treasury Management Training Symposium, held in Orlando, Florida.

New slate of officers for the Northeast Recycling Council

With the beginning of the fiscal year NERC has a new slate of Executive Officers. Kaley Laleker, Maryland Department of the Environment steps up to the President of the Board position, having previously served as the Vice President. Kaley is the Deputy Director of the Land and Materials Administration. The Land and Materials Administration includes the Solid Waste, Resource Management, Oil Control, Lead Poisoning Prevention, Mining, and Land Restoration Programs.

VEIC welcomes three new board members

Richard Cowart, President of the VEIC Board of Directors, announced today the appointment of three new board members. Colin Owyang, Ellen Zuckerman, and Nick Richardson, will begin their terms as VEIC board members in July 2018.

The VEIC Board provides independent, continuous, and permanent leadership for the organization. The members establish strategies, policies, and priorities in the context of the VEIC mission to enhance the economic, environmental, and societal benefits of clean and efficient energy use for all people.

AllEarth Renewables welcomes two new employees

AllEarth Renewables, the award winning Vermont-based solar tracker manufacturer, is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Greenberg as an Embedded Systems Engineer and Justin Guilbert as a Technical Analyst. Sarah Greenberg, of Winooski, comes to AllEarth Renewables with more than six years of experience in new product design and maintenance. Previously, Greenberg worked as an embedded firmware engineer at Northern Digital, utilizing her expertise in wireless radio transceiver chips.

VFCU announces new business lender

Kevin DeCausemacker, Director of Business Services at Vermont Federal Credit Union, is pleased to announce that Lea Coker has been promoted to Business Lender. Lea Coker joined Vermont Federal Credit Union in April of 2016 as a Business Lending Associate. Before joining the Credit Union, Coker worked in commercial loan administration at People’s United Bank. DeCausemacker shared, “since joining the Credit Union, Lea has been instrumental in streamlining the operations of our department.
