GW Plastics announces senior leadership team changes

Bethel, Vermont-based advanced manufacturing company GW Plastics is proud to announce the recent promotions of three executive team members. Cathy Tempesta has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. Tempesta joined GW Plastics 15 years ago as the Director of Human Resources, and in her new role as Vice President, she will work to bring best practices to all of GW Plastics’ worldwide operations, including workforce training and career development, employee engagement, and retention.

TruexCullins Architecture and Interior Design announces four new staff members

TruexCullins is pleased to announce the addition of four new staff to the firm: Zachary Ray, Assoc. AIA; Jeremy Jorgenson; Mariah Robin; and Petrea Sweeny.

Zachary Ray, Assoc. AIA, is an architectural designer with 14 years of experience, including 6 years in New York City designing high-end custom residential homes. Ray is a native of West Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.

Chris Balzano has recently moved to Vermont after spending 18 years working in architecture studios in Arizona and California. He’s a native New Yorker who received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and who has a passion for designing projects that enhance the built environment and connect individuals with their surroundings.

Professor Showalter wins 2018 Pritzker Military Museum and Library Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing

Dennis Showalter, author, military historian, and senior instructor of military history for Norwich University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies, has been named the recipient of the 2018 Pritzker Military Museum & Library Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing, called the Pritzker Literature Award for short. The award includes a gold medallion, a citation, and a $100,000 honorarium.
