gbA Architecture & Planning is pleased to announce that two new team members have joined our architectural design and planning studio. Chris Balzano has recently moved to Vermont after spending 18 years working in architecture studios in Arizona and California. He’s a native New Yorker who received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and who has a passion for designing projects that enhance the built environment and connect individuals with their surroundings. Chris is currently working on the second phase of the Red Clover Commons housing project, and the Lakeview Terrace apartments going up in Burlington.
Forrest Perkin’s exposure to the construction field started through summer jobs working for local contractors around his home town of Calias, Vermont. This inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Northeastern University. Growing up in the woods of Vermont, Forrest has always had a strong love for nature and the importance of environmental protection. While in Boston , he studied how sustainably designed projects can leave a positive footprint on surrounding environments.
gbA Architecture & Planning is located in Montpelier, Vermont. gbA strives to design places that are an integral part of a larger local and global community with connections to people, culture, and nature. More information can be found at www.gbarchitecture.com
