Ledyard National Bank is pleased to announce Susan Fernald as Senior Vice President, Banking Operations Officer, joining Ledyard’s Senior Management Team. Susan began her banking career as a teller in Massachusetts, moving to New Hampshire in 1981 as a teller at First Citizens Bank in Newport. In 1984, Susan moved to Lake Sunapee Bank holding numerous positions in her 31 years from Personal Banker, Branch Manager, IRA/CD Manager, Staff Development and VP Deposit Operations Manager.

Greensea appoints new Applications Engineer, Service Manager

Greensea, creator of OPENSEA, the universal open software architecture for the marine industry, has recently announced the appointment of Regina Yopak as Applications Engineer, Service Manager. Regina comes to Greensea with extensive at-sea experience having spent several tours as Lead Navigator and Mapping Specialist on board E/V Nautilus for the Ocean Exploration Trust. In addition to her offshore experience, Regina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Environmental Science, and a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Stern Center welcomes SJ White to staff

The Stern Center for Language and Learning welcomed SJ White to its staff as Intake Coordinator for Professional Learning on July 5. SJ received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College. N4A elects Stern to Board of Directors

The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (N4A) has elected Beth Stern, Executive Director of Central Vermont Council on Aging (CVCOA) to her second consecutive term as a member of its Board of Directors. N4A is a membership association representing America’s national network of 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), providing a voice in the nation’s capital. CVCOA and the four other regional agencies on aging in Vermont are long-standing members of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
