Southwestern Vermont Health Care’s Director of Engineering William Hall (right) was presented with Efficiency Vermont’s Energy Leadership Award at the state organization’s Best Practices Exchange in Killington, VT, last month.

At their Annual Mixer in October, the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals announced their 2019 VTAIP of the Year Award candidates. Nominated by their peers, these distinguished awards recognize the members involvement in the Association, their commitment to continuing education and honor their success in the insurance industry. They will each go on to represent VTAIP at the IAIP Regional Conference to be held in Erie, Pennsylvania in April 2019. The winner will then go on to the National IAIP Conference in Reno, NV in June 2019.

Prior to joining the firm, Vince worked for a New Jersey land use litigation firm, where he was fortunate enough to work remotely from the Green Mountain State, and simultaneously coach young ski racers. Vince also clerked for the Vermont Superior Court, Lamoille and Orleans Units, working on a broad range of civil and criminal litigation.

Today, RuralEdge, a rural regional housing non-profit organization, announced the appointment of Frances Pheeny as Executive Director. Ms Pheeny comes to RuralEdge from Franklin County Regional Housing & Redevelopment Agency, in rural western MA, where she most recently served as the Executive Director.
