At their Annual Mixer in October, the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals announced their 2019 VTAIP of the Year Award candidates. Nominated by their peers, these distinguished awards recognize the members involvement in the Association, their commitment to continuing education and honor their success in the insurance industry. They will each go on to represent VTAIP at the IAIP Regional Conference to be held in Erie, Pennsylvania in April 2019. The winner will then go on to the National IAIP Conference in Reno, NV in June 2019.

Also at their Annual Mixer in October, the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals announced Becky Adams, AINS, AIS, API, CPIW as the winner of the 2nd Annual Dayle Smedy Educational Scholarship.
Sponsored by New England Excess Exchange, the scholarship awards one VTAIP member $500 to be used to advance their continuing education.
The scholarship was created in memory of Dayle Smedy to honor her dedication to the insurance industry, commitment to education and her many years of involvement in the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals.
