St Mike’s graduate Rinaldi to lead revolutionary chorus

“Given these troubling times where more and more people are being told they do not belong, Vermont’s Freedom & Unity Chorus plans to demonstrate through our music and our singers that ALL voices are welcome in the chorus and in the state,” says Saint Michael’s College alumna Maria Rinaldi ’00 about her recent efforts to found a choral group “to spread the message of peace and justice across the Green Mountain State.”

Jaime Laredo announces VSO retirement

After two decades as our beloved Music Director, Jaime has decided that he will retire after the 2020/2021 season. His final concert with the VSO will be in May 2021. Jaime has built a high level of musical excellence within the orchestra, brought esteemed guest artists to perform with the VSO, and impacted Vermont's classical music community in ways that will last for years to come.

McAtee joins UVM Medical Center

The University of Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jen McAtee has accepted the position of Acute Care Rehabilitation Therapy Supervisor. Jen came to UVM Medical Center as a Staff Occupational Therapist (OT) in 2015 and has worked in acute care during her time here. Jen received her Masters of Science in OT in May of 2004 and has worked at Georgetown University Hospital, Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon, and most recently at Mass General in Boston before coming to Vermont.
