After two decades as our beloved Music Director, Jaime has decided that he will retire after the 2020/2021 season. His final concert with the VSO will be in May 2021. Jaime has built a high level of musical excellence within the orchestra, brought esteemed guest artists to perform with the VSO, and impacted Vermont's classical music community in ways that will last for years to come.
While we will be sad to see Jaime go, this is an exciting period of transition and opportunity for your VSO. We look forward to meeting candidates from all over the country and hearing their ideas for how to build on Jaime’s legacy.
