The Vermont Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors has elected attorney Spencer Knapp (pictured) as chair and appointed Amanda Knox Hoffman, Peter Miller, Marc Scorca and Dr. Prospero Gogo as new members.

A longtime supporter of the VSO and passionate advocate for classical music, Knapp, of Shelburne, brings decades of legal and leadership experience to his new role. He serves as of counsel at Dinse law firm and is former general counsel at the University of Vermont Health Network.
