Howard Center is pleased to announce its appointment of Simha Ravven, MD as Chief Medical Officer following a competitive national search. In this role, Dr. Ravven will direct psychiatric and clinical care services for the agency to ensure the delivery of high quality medical, nursing, and clinical care.

Heather Martin, director of the Castleton University Early Childhood Center, recently returned from representing the University at the nation's capital. Martin presented on a higher education panel to give an overview of Vermont's higher education system for early childhood education programs. She discussed how the Vermont State Colleges System works together to provide educational opportunities at the associate, bachelor's, and master's degree levels. She also talked about the scholarships that are available to Vermont students and the professional development systems that are in place.
