Water quality planner lauded for efforts to preserve Seymour Lake

Beth Torpey, water quality planner at the Northeastern Vermont Development Association, has been honored by the Seymour Lake Association for her professional guidance and dedication to preserving the lake's native species.

Torpey's work was also recognized by Gov. Scott, who credited her scientific knowledge for helping to keep the glacial lake in the Northeast Kingdom free of aquatic invasives that have plagued other waterbodies.
