Emerging Leaders of Southern Vermont class of 2020 recognized

31 young professionals are being recognized as Emerging Leaders of Southern Vermont by the Southern Vermont Young Professionals and the Shires Young Professionals. This recognition celebrates young people from the Bennington and Windham Regions, based on their work as community leaders and volunteers, and for their professional accomplishments and commitment to serving the region.

Daley, Shirk join Vermont board of the American Red Cross

The Vermont Chapter of the Northern New England Region of the American Red Cross welcomes Alex Daley of Gold Bullion International and Patty Shirk of GLOBALFOUNDRIES to its board of directors.

Sterling College appoints Heidi Myers as Associate Dean for Marketing and Communications

Vermont native Heidi Myers has joined the staff at Sterling College to fill the newly created position of Associate Dean for Marketing and Communications. Myers, from Lake Willoughby, VT, is a graduate of Champlain College, and worked for twenty years as the custom sales and marketing strategist for Louis Garneau USA, makers of cycling apparel. She is also the founder of the Rasputitsa Spring Classic, a grueling, 40-to-100K mud season event that in past years has brought 1,500 cyclists to the Northeast Kingdom.
