Jackie Winkler joins Copper Leaf Financial

Jackie Winkler has joined Copper Leaf Financial (CLF) as a Client Services Associate. Jackie graduated from St. Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics and Political Science. Previously, she worked as Operations Support at VSECU, as well as a Pharmacy Technician at Kinney Drugs.

Jackie will provide extensive support to Copper Leaf’s clients and work closely with the wealth management team to provide operational and administrative assistance.

OVRCC gather for 63rd annual meeting

The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce recently gathered for their 63rd Annual Meeting held at the Echo Lake Inn located just north of Ludlow along the Scenic Route 100 Byway in the Tyson Village of Plymouth. Innkeeper Tom Gianola was thanked for hosting & sponsoring the event.

Gail Beardmore of Engel & Volkers in Ludlow was elected the incoming President of the Board. Former President Tom Gianola will remain on the executive committee serving as treasurer.

NVRH Director of Quality and Infection Preventionist earns CIC credential

CBIC has announced that Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) Director of Quality and Infection Preventionist Patricia Launer has earned the Certified in Infection Control (CIC) credential and has demonstrated a mastery of infection prevention and control knowledge by taking and passing this comprehensive examination. Certification is maintained through successful completion of the recertification examination every five years.

Housing Trust of Rutland County announces new executive director

The Board of Directors of the Housing Trust of Rutland County (HTRC) has announced that Mary Cohen has been named the next Executive Director of the organization. Cohen will begin the new role in September, and will overlap with retiring longtime Director Elisabeth Kulas until Kulas’s planned December departure.

Norm Lash, the Board President and Chair of the search committee, said the board was thrilled to welcome Cohen.

White River Junction VA Healthcare System welcomes new Chief of Chaplain Service

Chaplain Lorna Graham has joined the White River Junction Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System as Chief of Chaplain Services. Dr. Graham is a proponent of chaplain leadership that promotes an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to Spiritual Care.

“It is essential to recognize and genuinely consider the acute complexities that are part of the human experience of illness because they directly impact behavioral and cognitive processes.” Her areas of specialty have been Hospice & Palliative Care and Mental Health.
