Addison County Chamber of Commerce hires new executive director
Adam Rainville, Chair of the board of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, shared the following announcement, “it is my great pleasure to share with you the appointment of Philip Summers to serve as executive director of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce effective October 4th, 2021.” Phil is a graduate of Wagner College with a BA, and a graduate of Brooklyn College with an MS in Communication. He is also an adjunct lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Mary Washington where he remotely teaches undergraduate courses in marketing and advertising.
Williamson joins CSAC psychiatric team
The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Genevieve Williamson to the position of child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and Medical Director of Youth and Family Services. Dr. Williamson most recently served as an inpatient psychiatrist at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) and assistant professor of Psychiatry at the Robert Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont.
Reyes earns national certification
Melissa Reyes, Marketing Director for Professional Financial Associates, LLC (PFA) in Colchester, Vermont, has earned the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) certification from the American Bankers Association (ABA).

SeaComm announces South Burlington branch manager
SeaComm is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Thomas to the role of Branch Manager at the South Burlington branch, located at 1680 Shelburne Road.
Joshua was specifically hired for the position, and he came to the credit union with more than ten years of experience in the financial service industry. Joshua studied at Community College of Vermont in Winooski, and The University of Vermont in Burlington. In his role as Branch Manager, Joshua oversees branch operations, including teller and lending functions, and ensures high member service standards.
Transfer announcement – Lieutenant/Williston Field Station Commander
Col. Matthew T. Birmingham, director of the Vermont State Police, is pleased to announce the following transfer: Lt. Tara Thomas, executive officer/Special Operations to commander/Williston Field Station. The transfer was effective Aug. 29, 2021.
