Addison County EDC board elects new members, executive team
At separate meetings in November and December 2021, the board of directors of the Addison County Economic Development Corp elected four new members and a new executive team for the 2022-23 term.
New board members are:
- Darcy Tarte, TD Bank.
- Christopher Lapierre, National Bank of Middlebury.
- Gina Larrow, Co-operative Insurance Companies.
- Jason Robart, Seae Ventures.

Hazel Brewster joins Vermont Chamber as director of public relations
Hazel Brewster, former chief of staff for the Vermont lieutenant governor’s office, has joined the Vermont Chamber of Commerce as director of public relations. In her new role, Brewster will lead the chamber’s communication and event efforts, working closely with President Betsy Bishop.
Brewster is a graduate of the University of Vermont and earned holds a master’s degree in public policy and global affairs from the University of British Columbia.
Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports honors 2021 Volunteers of the Year
Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, the largest year-round disabled sports nonprofit organization in Vermont, recently honored three individuals as 2021 Volunteers of the Year. They are Julie Kaye of Hinesburg, VT, who volunteers year-round at the organization’s Bolton Valley and Burlington waterfront/bike path locations; Kevin Maichen of Killington, VT, who works with youth in schools and alternative education classrooms; and Rob Galloway of Richmond, VT, a ski instructor and adaptive mountain biking advocate and volunteer.
