MENTOR Vermont has appointed three new members — Andrea Haddad, principal at Ernst & Young; Beth Vanderputten Perlongo, chief of staff and strategy at Redstone; and Joshua Jarvis, a 12-year veteran of the finance industry — to its board of directors. Each brings years of professional expertise and a strong belief in mentoring to the MENTOR Vermont board.

ReArch awards 5K scholarship to recent Winooski graduate
ReArch Company has awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Winooski School District graduate Kaleb Roucoulet, who plans to enroll at the Advanced Welding Institute in South Burlington.
The scholarship was created to encourage recent high-school graduates to pursue postsecondary education in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction management or related trades (plumbing, electrical, masonry, welding, etc.) Student selection is based on an essay, financial need and recommendation letter.

Bennington College welcomes nine new faculty for 2022-23 school year
Bennington College announced the appointment of nine new faculty members for the 2022-23 school year. These include neurodiverse activists and change-makers, multiple trans scholars, women in traditionally underrepresented fields and two former Bennington College students, among others.
