MENTOR Vermont has appointed three new members — Andrea Haddad, principal at Ernst & Young; Beth Vanderputten Perlongo, chief of staff and strategy at Redstone; and Joshua Jarvis, a 12-year veteran of the finance industry — to its board of directors. Each brings years of professional expertise and a strong belief in mentoring to the MENTOR Vermont board.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Haddad worked in the Boston IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she litigated numerous cases before the United States Tax Court. She also serves on the board of directors for Girls’ LEAP and is currently the treasurer.
In her role at Redstone, a real estate development and property management company based in Burlington, Vanderputten Perlongo supports organizational development, residential support and student housing operations. Prior to that, she worked more than 15 years in higher education administration.
Jarvis specializes in trust and estate planning and retirement services. He earned his Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation in 2020 and holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Plattsburgh State University.
Haddad, Vanderputten Perlongo, and Jarvis are filling vacancies left by former board members Christine Auriemma, Gabriella Tufo Strouse, and Sarah Caliendo, who recently transitioned off the board after many yers of service.
