Pelin Kohn, chair of the leadership program and founding director of the Center for Leadership at Norwich University, and Caylin McCamp, sustainable projects manager in the Office of Sustainability at the University of Vermont, will be among 60 higher education leaders to attend the HERS Leadership Institute in June on the campus of Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. HERS is an acronym for Higher Education Resources Services.

Heather Blackman, network manager of managed care contracting at the University of Vermont Health Network, has been elected to the board of trustees at Howard Center, a Burlington-based nonprofit that provides professional crisis and counseling services to children and adults.

Abe Berman, vice president of revenue strategy at the University of Vermont Health Network, has been named interim CEO of OneCare Vermont, a provider-informed accountable care organization working to improve the health of Vermonters and stabilize health care costs. Berman replaces Vicki Loner, who will step down from the role at the end of May.
