Josephine Moran (pictured right), president and chief banking officer at Ledyard National Bank, has been promoted to president and CEO of the company. The move was made in conjunction with the announcement by CEO Kathy Underwood (left) that she will retire on July 3.

Since joining Ledyard in January 2022, Moran has overseen financial center banking and product development as well as bank-wide operations, information technology, human resources and compliance. She was elected to the Ledyard Board of Directors in January.

Steve MacQueen, former artistic director at the Flynn, has been appointed executive director of the Vermont International Film Festival, effective June 12. He will succeed Orly Yadin, who will assist with the transition and act as the festival's program director in October.

In his new role, MacQueen will be responsible for fundraising, curation, budgeting, working with the VTIFF Board of Directors, and generally continuing the upward trajectory of the festival.
