Rebecca Wasserman of Burlington, former legislative counsel in the Vermont General Assembly's Office of Legislative Counsel, has been named the first executive director of Vermont’s new public retirement-savings program, VT Saves (pdf).

Kelsey Schweitzer, former law clerk in the environmental and civil divisions of the Vermont judiciary, has joined the litigation group at the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin. She began work in mid-September from DRM's Burlington office.

“We are very pleased to have Kelsey join the firm,” said Robert Luce, chair of DRM’s litigation group. “Kelsey’s experience clerking for both the trial court and the environmental court in Vermont will be of great benefit to our litigation practice.”

Ashlee Solarczyk, former adviser at Charles Schwab Wealth Advisory in Phoenix, Arizona, has joined Copper Leaf Financial as a wealth adviser. She is a certified financial planner professional and holds the certified wealth strategist designation.

Kevin Camp, president of Camp Precast Concrete Products in Milton, has been named chair-elect of the National Precast Concrete Association, an international trade association representing manufacturers of plant-produced precast concrete products and the companies that sell those products.

Camp Precast was founded in 1968 in Montgomery, Vermont, by Kevin Camp’s parents, Dale and Mary. The company manufactures a wide range of products, including on-site wastewater, sanitary, residential, stormwater, agricultural and utility products.
