Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) will host a Heart Health Fair on Friday, February 16, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Heart Health Fair is open to all staff
and community members and will be held in the NVRH Business Center.
 

Taking care of your heart is important and doing so may help prevent a heart attack. According to the American Heart Association, approximately every 40 seconds, someone in the United States will have a heart attack.

The 29th annual Special Olympics Vermont Penguin Plunge is coming up on Saturday, February 10th at the Burlington Waterfront Boat Launch. 1,000 brave Plungers will take an icy dip, beginning with the Cool School Penguin Plunge (for students and educators) at 10:00 am, and the Burlington Penguin Plunge (for all community members and businesses) at 11:00am. This event is Special Olympics Vermont’s largest fundraiser of the year, bringing in 30 – 40% of our operating budget.
