The 29th annual Special Olympics Vermont Penguin Plunge is coming up on Saturday, February 10th at the Burlington Waterfront Boat Launch. 1,000 brave Plungers will take an icy dip, beginning with the Cool School Penguin Plunge (for students and educators) at 10:00 am, and the Burlington Penguin Plunge (for all community members and businesses) at 11:00am. This event is Special Olympics Vermont’s largest fundraiser of the year, bringing in 30 – 40% of our operating budget. As of this morning we are 95% of the way to our fundraising goal!
This year’s event will have an exciting Winter Village with music, food trucks, local vendors, games, kids activities and more! It will also be live streamed at PenguinPlunge.org and on the WCAX app and website, thanks to our partners, Media Factory, WCAX and VOX AM/FM/Digital!
