Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Department of Health on Sunday is reporting 141 new cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths, which now stand at 287 statewide. There are 33 people hospitalized and 9 in the ICU. Hospitalizations have remained relatively high but steady the last few weeks.

However, the Personal Income tax, the state's most important General Fund revenue source, was below its target. The PI had been leading the way in Vermont’s revenue surplus over the last two years. Cases increased by 18 from the revised Thursday report (123). There are 30 people hospitalized and 9 in the ICU. Hospitalizations have remained relatively high but steady the last few weeks. According to the VDH, to date there have been 51 hospitalizations and 18 deaths among the 1,906 cases of vaccine breakthrough.

Vermont State Police On Friday 9/10/2021 at approximately 0136 hours Troopers from the St Albans State Police Barracks responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Rt 105 in Sheldon. When first responders arrived on scene, they found 2 occupants of the vehicle deceased and another occupant in critical condition. Members of the Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.

Vermont Business Magazine The Tri-Park Cooperative Housing Corporation in Brattleboro has hired M&S Development LLC to address complex infrastructure projects at Vermont's largest privately-owned mobile home park. M&S will also provide residents living in flood-prone areas with options for relocation. The housing cooperative provides affordable housing to predominantly low and moderate-income residents. The parks were established in 1965 as a private development and later incorporated as a cooperative in 1989.

Vermont Business Magazine A range of new and strengthened services will make getting help easier as the Department of Mental Health (DMH) provides $4.6 million in federal funds to local mental health and other service agencies across the state. These funds are available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021.
