BAYADA home Health Care today announced that Kristi Cross, RN, BSN has been named associate director of the Bennington home health care office. Born and raised in Bennington, Cross will manage the team and oversee all operations of the office, which provides nursing and therapy to adults and seniors in Bennington County.
Lyndon State College History Professor Alexandre Strokanov was named the winner of this year’s “Best Teacher of Russian Humanities Abroad” contest. The Pushkin Institute, the foremost school for Russian language studies, along with a host of Russian governmental agencies including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Culture, and of Education, sponsored the Moscow-based contest.

HowardCenter’s Board of Trustees today announced the appointment of Bob Bick as Executive Director, effective January 1, 2015. Bick has been the Director of HowardCenter’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services since1994—when an organization that he led for 10 years merged with two others to form the current-day HowardCenter.
