In July of 2020, Terje Anderson announced that he would be stepping down from his position as Party Chair due to health issues. Anderson served as chair from 2017 to 2020.

Governor Phil Scott announced the reappointment of Jessica Holmes, PhD, to serve as a member of the Green Mountain Care Board. Holmes has served on the Board since 2014. “Jessica has been a great asset to the Board, and I’m pleased to see her continue her service,” said Governor Scott.

Marcy Stevens, a resident of Jamaica (VT), serves as a student representative on Vermont Adult Learning’s Board of Trustees. Marcy is a current student at the nonprofit’s Brattleboro Learning Center as well as a student at the Community College of Vermont. She enjoys reading for pleasure, gardening, and hiking in her free time. She plans to earn a degree in Behavioral Science.

The Town of Northfield has hired its first-ever Economic Development Director, Jon Ignatowski, who began the role on Sept. 15.
Northfield, population 6,100, is home to two major central Vermont employers, Cabot Hosieries (Darn Tough Socks) and Norwich University, and aims to grow into a central Vermont destination town.
