Bill Young, Executive Director of Maple Leaf Farm is pleased to announce that Libby Kennedy was recently hired as an Assessment Counselor. Libby graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with Masters in Community Mental Health, and, completed a clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Division of Addictions.

William A. Baker, President of the Vermont Children's Aid Society Board of Directors announced the appointment of Denise Nagelschmidt as Interim Executive Director of the Vermont Children's Aid Society. Baker noted that Denise has provided exceptional leadership to the agency and its Board of Directors, rising to become President of the Board this last November.

Former President and CEO of the Vermont Teddy Bear Company, Elisabeth Robert, announced her acquisition of a majority interest in Terry Precision Cycling, today’s premier women’s cycling company. Terry’s founder Georgena Terry and Vice President of Marketing Paula Dyba will remain as continuing equity partners in the business.

The Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Wesley W. Oswald has accepted the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer. Oswald is temporarily filling the position vacated by long-time NMC CEO Peter Hofstetter, who has accepted the CEO position at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, New Mexico.

The University of Vermont announced that Thomas C. Vogelmann has been named dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Vogelmann is currently interim dean of the college, a position he has held since July 1, 2008. His new position is effective immediately.

Laura Hubbell MSW, Program Manager, for the Care Management Department at Central Vermont Medical Center, recently earned her certification as an Accredited Case Manager, ACM from the American Case Management Association (AMCA). AMCA is the non-profit membership organization for Hospital/Health System Case management professionals.
