Laura Hubbell MSW, Program Manager, for the Care Management Department at Central Vermont Medical Center, recently earned her certification as an Accredited Case Manager, ACM from the American Case Management Association (AMCA). AMCA is the non-profit membership organization for Hospital/Health System Case management professionals. According to hospital survey data, with a 95% confidence level, Case Management professionals overwhelmingly support a Case Manager credential specific to Hospital/Health System Case Managers. ACMA has invested two years in developing the first comprehensive certification process designed for registered nurses and social workers that practice Case Management in the hospital/health system setting.
