The Northern Vermont Center for Sleep Disorders welcomes a new staff member. Innocent C. Ezenwa, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Ezenwa joins Veronika Jedlovszky, MD and David Alsobrook, MD. Dr. Jedlovszky is a pulmonologist and the medical director of the nationally accredited lab.

Bill Young, Executive Director of Maple Leaf Farm is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathryn Battles, MPS, LADC as Clinical Case Manager. Kathryn, a graduate of Tufts University, will work with clients at Maple Leaf Farm and at Transitions, an Intensive Outpatient Program in collaboration with HowardCenter.

The Essex, Vermont’s Culinary Resort & Spa, today announced two new additions to its Sales and Marketing Department. Erin Kennedy Knox joins The Essex as Senior Sales manager, and ShawnnaLea Zemanek is the resort’s new Conference Services Manager.

Saint Michael's College Associate Professor of Physics, Dr. Alain Brizard, was informed September 28, that he has been selected for Fellowship in the American Physical Society (APS), at the recommendation of the Division of Plasma Physics. This honor, regarded as “the ultimate professional honor as a physicist,” is limited to no more than one half of one percent of APS membership.
