Kirby Dunn, executive director of HomeShare Vermont, will step down Sept. 15 from the position she has held for the past 23 years. Connor Timmons, former executive director at the Common Ground Center in Starksboro, will replace Dunn in the leadership role.

Yasmin Dwedar, former supervising attorney at the Crime Victims Treatment Center in Brooklyn, New York, has joined Vermont Legal Aid as executive director. In her new role, Dwedar will manage the organization's day-to-day operations and lead fundraising programs and advocacy as well as marketing and community-engagement initiatives.

Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Cyndi Freeman has joined the company’s South Burlington office as a realtor. Freeman brings more than 30 years of diverse, professional and personal experience to the real estate community.

Kimberly Lebron, former chief credit officer at Thomaston Savings Bank, has joined Ledyard Financial Advisors as executive vice president and chief lending officer. In her new role, Lebron is responsible for leading the commercial lending and credit teams, with a key focus on expanding and deepening relationships.

Sgt. Charles Winn, patrol commander and acting lieutenant at the State Police Berlin Barracks, has been promoted to lieutenant/station commander. Field station commanders are responsible for overseeing delivery of law enforcement services to the communities served by that station.

Chris Lehman has been hired as chief human resources officer at the University of Vermont, bringing 25 years of HR leadership experience to the state’s flagship land-grant university. He began his new duties Aug. 28.

Kevin Chu, executive director of the Vermont Futures Project, was named recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Citizen Award by Champlain College. The award recognizes and celebrates leaders whose personal and professional achievements exemplify Champlain’s commitment to developing engaged citizens who make a meaningful impact on their communities.

Jessica Brown, associate director of the Center for Justice Reform at Vermont Law and Graduate School, has been elevated to director of the center. In her new role, Brown will lead efforts to address deficiencies in our justice systems and train the next generation of justice leaders.

Sculptor and multimedia artist Leslie Fry heads a list of five recipients of this year’s Vermont Arts Awards sponsored by the Vermont Arts Council. Fry, of Winooski, will receive the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, the highest honor given to an artist by the state.
