Professor of the Year by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of

Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. He

was selected from more than 300 top professors nominated by their

Vermont Public Television, the statewide public television network, has

hired George Hauenstein as chief development officer. He heads the

department responsible for raising funds from individual and corporate

contributors, who are the source of most of VPT’s operating revenue.
