Wind measurement equipment manufacturer, NRG Systems, announces the addition of Jim Pitman to its team as senior electrical engineer. Pitman comes to NRG Systems from Suss Microtec in Waterbury Center, where he worked as a senior electrical engineer since 2001.

Vermont Family Network (VFN) recently promoted Jeff Morton to the position of Director of Development & Communications. Morton joined VFN in 2010 as Communications Director. Helen Riehle has been named as the executive director of the Champlain Valley Area Health Education Center (AHEC) in St. Albans. Prior to joining Champlain Valley AHEC, Riehle taught middle school, was the executive director of the Vermont Program for Quality in Health Care and served in the Vermont State Legislature.

Vermont Public Television (VPT), Vermont’s statewide public television network, has added another golden statuette to its awards case. The producers of “Headline Vermont” won Emmys at the 34th annual Boston/New England awards held May 14 in Boston. The film chronicled Vermonters’ passion for newspapers from the frontier era into the 20th century.

Vermont Teddy Bear Company, which has been hand-crafting Bears in Vermont for over 25 years, has announced that Rebecca Lamson has joined their team as the Human Resources Manager. Rebecca holds an MBA, with a concentration in HR Management, from the University of Phoenix. Rebecca joined the team at the beginning of April.
