Kathie Desautels of RE/MAX North Professionals, has been named the 2011 REALTOR® of the Year by the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR). This prestigious award honors an individual who best exemplifies the professional qualities of a REALTOR®, as well as outstanding leadership and service in civic, community and charitable causes.
“This is our association’s highest honor,” said Kathleen Sweeten, NVBR executive vice president. “Since 1964, NVBR has honored individuals whose leadership in their community and their profession is unparalleled. Kathie has an unyielding passion for the real estate profession and herself to a high standard of excellence.”
Kathie is former President of NVBR and has held leadership positions on the Education and Leadership Development Committees. She represents NVBR on the Vermont Association of REALTORS® (VAR) Board of Directors. She is an active participant in many community service projects. She is the 2011 tri-captain of VAR’s charitable project, the Susan Komen Race for the Cure.
