Department of Liquor & Lottery welcomes new director of sports wagering
Joshua Sumner, former chief financial officer at TrailNorth Federal Credit Union in Ticonderoga, New York, has been named director of sports wagering and contract compliance at the state Department of Liquor and Lottery.
As the regulatory lead for Vermont's mobile sports wagering operations, Sumner will work closely with DLL teammates and collaborate with other state agencies to support operators in providing safe and responsible gaming experiences.

Vermont Law prof appointed to national clinical legal education committee
Beth Locker, associate dean for experiential learning and professor of law at Vermont Law and Graduate School, has been selected to serve on the executive committee of the Association of American Law School’s Clinical Legal Education Section.
During her three-year appointment, Locker will advocate for clinical faculty, support professional development, enhance curricula, participate in selecting winners of faculty awards and provide general support of section members and the clinical community in efforts to advance racial justice.
