Vermont Agricultural Hall of Fame names Class of 2024 inductees
The Vermont Agricultural Hall of Fame will induct five new members later this summer at the Champlain Valley Fair. Farmer Paul Doton, along with the late Albert Moraska and Russel Allen, will be honored for lifetime achievement; farmer Brian McGarry will be inducted as an emerging leader; and Ellen Kahler, executive director of the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, will be recognized for agricultural innovation.

VSAC appoints Metzler as CFO, promotes Boehm to senior director role
The Vermont Student Assistance Corp. has appointed Meghan Metzler as vice president and chief financial officer and promoted Kirstin Boehm to senior director of outreach, research and development.
Metzler joins VSAC from the association of accounting and professional service firms BDO USA, where she served as principal. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and serves as chair of the Champlain Valley School Board.
