From Ross Powers to Andy Newell and Lindsey Jacobellis, Stratton has always been seen as a breeding ground for the best on the snow.
And the next generation looks awfully bright thanks to a fine team of Stratton coaches, who bring a select group of dedicated young athletes to new heights each and every season.
Here are just some of the many accomplishments for Stratton’s programs in 2009-10.
Cynthia S. Smith, MD joins Barre Internal Medicine
Central Vermont Medical Center President and CEO, Judy Tarr, is pleased to announce that Cynthia S. Smith, MD has joined Barre Internal Medicine, part of the CVMC Medical Group. .
Dr. Smith, who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, was most recently practicing at UniversityHealth Center in Burlington as an Attending Physician, Primary Care Internal Medicine. She was also Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
Champlain College to confer honorary degrees to Burlington’s Ed Colodny and Robert Skiff
Champlain College will confer two honorary degrees during this year's 132nd Commencement on Saturday, May 8.
The Board of Trustees of Champlain College selected businessman and attorney Edwin Colodny and former Champlain College President Robert A. Skiff, both Burlington natives, to receive honorary doctoral degrees. Colodny will receive a Doctor of Public Service and Skiff will receive a Doctor of Humane Letters.

Kompf owns and operates Acorno Acorns (www.acorno.com) a Burlington based business selling Vermont ’s famous Northern Red Oak Acorns.

Glenn Jarrett has joined CVAA's board of directors. CVAA helps seniors age with independence and dignity by providing information, services, education , support and advocacy to seniors and caregivers. Jarrett is the principal of Jarrett Law Office, PLC, in South Burlington, Vermont where he concentrates his practice on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, special needs planning and probate and trust administration. In addition to being an attorney, Jarrett is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Christine Latulip joins Union Bank Team
