Staige Davis, CEO of Lang McLaughry Spera Real Estate and its fine-property affiliate, Lion & Davis, has announced that Maureen Harmon has decided to retire from her role as the firm’s Managing Broker in its Manchester office as well as from the day-to-day practice of real estate. Harmon will devote more time to family, travel and other personal interests.

Ralph Colin, of Dorset, was recently honored by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra at its Holiday Concert featuring the Brass Quintet and Counterpoint at the First Congregational Church in Manchester. In September, Colin retired from the VSO’s Governing Board of Directors after 15 years of service.

Steve Marsh, President of Community National Bank has just announced the promotion of Kathryn Austin to Executive Vice President of Community Bancorp. and Community National Bank. Austin has worked for the bank for 31 years where she most recently has been responsible for the administration of CNB’s Retail Banking operations, as well as directing the Human Resources and Marketing and Public Relations departments.

The Vermont Land Trust announced the appointment of Eliot Orton of Weston as the new chair of its board of trustees. Orton succeeds Mary Powell of South Hero, a trustee for 10 years.
