Nan Patrick, sales director with Mary Kay, returns from the Mary Kay convention, “Seminar”, with top awards. Her sales group was the #1 sales unit, and the most improved unit in Vermont. Nan, in personal sales, took the #7 position in her division of 175,000 beauty consultants and sales directors.
Dr. Kathryn R. Dungy, who earned her doctorate in Caribbean and Latin American History from Duke University, was named assistant professor history at Saint Michael's College. Professor Dungy was a visiting assistant professor at Saint Michael’s from 2010 to 2011, and has now been named to that position on a tenure track, effective for the fall 2011 semester.
Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) welcomes Joanne Bulley, MD, to the Department of Women’s Health. Dr. Bulley has cared for patients since 1985. In June 2011, she closed her solo practice and will continue to provide patient care at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene. “I have managed my medical practice in my patients’ best interests and with an eye on the future,” said Dr. Bulley.
With teaching experience at universities in the U.S. and France, at two colleges, and in a sixth grade, Peter Vantine brings scholarship, as well as experience and accolades in the teaching world, to his new position at Saint Michael's College.
Dr. Laura J. Stroup, assistant professor of geography at Texas State University, San Marcos, has been named Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Saint Michael's College, starting with the fall 2011 semester. Dr. Stroup is the first professor in the college’s newly developed, cross-disciplinary major in Environmental Studies.
With extensive experience in exploring the changing impact of the human environment on water resources, Dr. Stroup is pleased to have many collaborators amongst the Saint Michael’s science, geography and economics faculty.
University of Vermont (UVM) graduate, Julia Lyon, has recently started as an assistant account executive at PMG. Lyon will be working on the team that services the following accounts: EcoTensil, Freeaire, Grafton Village Cheese, Darn Tough Vermont, GreenHomes America, and Smugglers' Notch Resort.
“We are excited to have Julia to join our team full-time. She is an enthusiastic young woman with much potential and will be a great addition to PMG,” said Nicole Ravlin, partner at PMG.
Terry Boyle, retired landscape architect and founder of Burlington-based T.J. Boyle & Associates, has been named to the Council of Fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). This is one of the highest honors the society confers on a member.
