Stephen Leffler M.D. has been appointed Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Fletcher Allen Health Care. He is currently medical director of the Emergency Department and president of the medical staff.

Saint Michael's College Associate Professor of Physics, Dr. Alain Brizard, was informed September 28, that he has been selected for Fellowship in the American Physical Society (APS), at the recommendation of the Division of Plasma Physics. This honor, regarded as “the ultimate professional honor as a physicist,” is limited to no more than one half of one percent of APS membership.
