Local performers create Game Shows VT

Local performers Jamie Polli, Tim Kavanagh, and Bill Moller have created Game Shows VT, marketing live game shows as a team-building tool for local companies and organizations. Polli hosted the game show "Survey Says!" for over nine years on public access Channel 15. Kavanagh hosted 100 episodes of the Champlain College collaborative "Late Night Saturday with Tim Kavanagh" on WCAX-TV Channel 3. The trio now takes their game shows on the road to perform "spoofs" tailored to suit the needs of any client, including using industry-specific content.

Designers acknowledged for Interrobang projects in Creativity 41 Design Competition

Projects designed for local businesses have received awards in the Creativity 41 Print and Packaging competition.

The inaugural issue of the VBSR [Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility] Local First VT "Buy Local Resource Guide and Coupon Book", designed by Mark Sylvester, received a Silver Award. The 2010 Holiday Gift Card and Tote Bag, and company business cards designed by Lisa Sylvester for Essex, VT based Autumn Harp received Honorable Mention Awards.

Bayada Hospice nurse manager named HPNA’s first Vermont State Ambassador

Sonja Molyneux, RN clinical manager for Bayada Hospice in Burlington, VT, has been appointed by the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses Association (HPNA) Board of Directors as the State Ambassador to the national HPNA Public Policy Committee. The HPNA is the nation’s oldest and largest professional nursing organization dedicated to promoting excellence in hospice and palliative nursing care.
