Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Brittany Riley of South Burlington, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Administrative Assistant. Riley was most recently employed at Vermont Gas Systems as Front Desk Receptionist. Prior to that she served administrative roles at Women Helping Battered Women and Essex Alliance Church. Perrigo, a leading pharmaceutical supplier, announced today that Greg Hostetler has been hired as an analytical chemist for the analytical research and development team. In this role, Hostetler will work with scientists in product development and quality assurance to develop new analytical methods for infant formula. Hostetler will be working at Perrigo’s Georgia, Vermont site, previously known as PBM Nutritionals.

AllEarth Renewables has hired Bill Kanzer, a 20 year veteran of the solar industry, to direct its sales and marketing and join its management team. Kanzer has extensive experience in PV (photovoltaic) sales and marketing, research, product development and information systems.

He joins AllEarth Renewables, the Williston, Vermont-based company that manufactures the AllSun Tracker, a dual-axis solar tracker that uses innovative GPS and wireless technology to actively follow the sun throughout the day, producing up to 45 percent more energy than rooftop solar.

Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Tim Collins of Burlington, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as SQL Report Writer and Analyst.

Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology earned at Vermont Technical College. He brings vast information technology experience ranging from application development to database management and web design.

Rick Jean, VHFA’s Manager of Information Technology, commented, “we look forward to having Tim round out our IT team, specializing in SQL database management and report writing.”

Michelle Gates of Westford, has joined Special Olympics Vermont as the organization’s new Program Services Director.

In this newly created role, Michelle will be responsible for developing and managing SOVT’s network of volunteers, coordinating outreach and support for local and school programs and implementing Project Unify.
