Larry Sudbay, President and Chief Executive Officer of SymQuest Group, is pleased to announce the hiring of new Network Support Engineer Brett A. Smith.

“I’m happy to be a valued member of the team,” said Smith.

Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from Champlain College and experience as an IT Engineer at Northwestern Medical Center. In his role as a Network Support Engineer he will be responsible for providing front line help desk and remote technical support to SymQuest clients and managing customer networks.

Jonna Goulding, MD attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts graduating from an accelerated seven-semester program with a BA in Biology and a minor in music.

She attended L’Institut d’Administration et de Gestion, Universite Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium on a full merit scholarship. The program was conducted in French and Dr. Goulding graduated with distinction earning a Maitrise (Master’s Degree) in International Business. Again on a full merit scholarship she earned her MBA at Johnson School of Management, Cornell University.

The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter at Stafford Technical Center recently installed new officers for the 2013 and 2014 school year. The officers are Jessica Cota-President (RHS), Lexi Tittemore-Vice President/Parliamentarian (RHS) ,Sarah Durkee-Secretary/Reporter (RHS), Maria Whalen-Treasurer (Mill River) and Kaelin Reopell-Historian (West Rutland). They were installed in a special ceremony attended by family, friends, and Stafford Technical Center Staff. All of the officers are enrolled in Stafford's Human Services.

Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew announces that ten attorneys have been selected for inclusion on the New England Super Lawyers 2013 list in seven different classes, and one attorney has been selected for inclusion on the Rising Stars 2013 list. Attorneys are identified as “Super Lawyers” based on extensive nomination and polling among New England attorneys aimed at identifying New England’s top attorneys in each class.

The 2014 Vermont Lake Monsters field staff will include a pair of new coaches with the additions of former Major League players David Newhan as manager and Tommy Everidge as the team's hitting coach, the NY-Penn League affiliate of the Oakland Athletics announced with the release of the full coaching staffs throughout the Athletics organization by Oakland.

Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont (HBRANV), has announced the Better Homes Award (BHA) winners at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Leahy Center for Lake Champlain last night.
