UVM/Fletcher Allen appoints Mitchell Norotsky, M.D., as Chair and Health Care Service Leader of Surgery

Frederick C. Morin, M.D., dean of the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and John R. Brumsted, M.D., president and CEO of Fletcher Allen Health Care, have announced the appointment of Mitchell Norotsky, M.D., associate professor and interim chair of surgery, as chair and health care service leader of the Department of Surgery.

Salvation Army announces appointment of new corps officer in Burlington

The Northern New England Division of The Salvation Army announces the appointment of Major Patti & Lieutenant Scott Murray as officers and pastors ot the Burlington, Vermont Corps. Major and Lieutenant Murray replace Captains William and Stephanie Thompson who received a new assignment. During the Murray’s years of service with The Salvation Army, they have demonstrated their commitment to serving others.

Craig Richesin joins Sheraton Burlington Hotel

Craig Richesin will be joining the Sheraton Burlington Hotel Sales team as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Craig will be coming from the Sheraton Dallas Hotel where he serves as Director of Sales. Craig has been part of the Starwood family for 11 years holding sales roles at the Westin Dallas Park Central and the Wigwam Golf Resort and Spa, before joining the Sheraton Dallas. Craig will begin in his new position August 11th.

Margolis Healy welcomes new staff in the National Center for Campus Public Safety

Margolis Healy has announced the selection of three new staff members for the National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS), the first comprehensive, centralized resource for issues related to campus safety, security, and emergency management. Andrea Young, Megan O’Neil, and Heather Gibbs recently joined the Margolis Healy team and have been assigned to National Center at the newly opened Burlington, Vermont office. Andrea Young has been hired as a Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator.
