Lt. Governor Scott named to leadership of National Lieutenant Governors Association

Vermont Lt. Governor Phil Scott is serving on the leadership committee of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA). The NLGA is a professional association enabling regional and nationwide policy discussion and progress at the state level. “Through NLGA’s bipartisan nature, the priorities of lieutenant governors and their states and territories are united – not divided,” said NLGA Director Julia Hurst.

Janna Osman Promoted to VP for Programs and Peggy Price Hired as Professional Learning Coordinator and Director of Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence

Janna Osman has been promoted to VP for Programs at the Stern Center. She will direct the center’s services, including professional learning, evaluations, customized instruction, and communication services.

Peggy Price has been hired as professional learning coordinatorand director of Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence. She will deliver workshops on evidence-based instruction in areas of literacy and special-education and provide courses within the Stern Center-Orton Gillingham Institute.

Joe Kasprzak is the new economic development specialist at NVDA

David Snedeker and the Board of Directors have hired Joe Kasprzak to be NVDA's full time Economic Development Specialist. Joe has served as Orleans County Business Resource Coordinator since October 2013, and will continue to work from the Newport office assisting businesses throughout the region. "NVDA was very fortunate that Joe was available as other key staff were departing. His strong business and marketing background greatly enhance our ability to serve the region's business community," said Snedeker.
