Local financial advisor achieves high score in client relationship study

Jason K. DuBois a financial advisor, with Russell, Blanchard & DuBois a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., has received high marks from his clients in the recent Ameriprise Financial Client Relationship Study. DuBois ranked in the top 25 percent of all Ameriprise advisors, receiving a score of 96 percent or higher based on overall client satisfaction.

Ob/Gyn Dr Melissa Scalera joins Gifford team

On her road to becoming an ob/gyn, Dr. Melissa Scalera flirted with Vermont. First there was her undergraduate studies at Williams College just three miles south of the Vermont border in Massachusetts. She crossed the border for Chinese food, antiques and skiing. Later her residency was at Albany Medical Center in nearby New York.

Now she and her ski enthusiast family are thrilled to be calling Vermont home.

Dr. Scalera has joined Gifford Ob/Gyn & Midwifery in Randolph.

Clough joins Community National Bank

Community National Bank (CNB) President Stephen Marsh is pleased to welcome Mark Clough to the bank as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. Mark will be taking care of the needs of CNB’s business customers and prospective customers throughout Caledonia County. Mark will be working out of the Price Chopper office, but he will be available to meet with customers at any CNB office or business location that best suits the customer.

New additions at AllEarth Renewables boost solar tracker production

AllEarth Renewables has added to its manufacturing team, enabling the company to reach record level production of its innovative solar tracker.

Recent hires to the production team include manufacturing technicians Reed Hanson, Justin LaPoint, Thomas O’Keefe, Andrew Russett, and Eric Seaton.

Hanson, who has worked with AllEarth for the last four summers on the company’s field team, will earn his degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Vermont in December.

HowardCenter staff, board member appointed to Governor’s criminal justice and substance abuse cabinet

HowardCenter Director of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Bob Bick and Board of Trustees member Thomas “TJ” Donovan, Jr. were recently appointed to the Governor’s Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Cabinet for a five-year term.

The Governor’s Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Cabinet was established to address the growing need for a forum in which community representatives from law enforcement, treatment facilities, and educational programs can establish a common understanding and plan to achieve a coordinated response to drug-related crime in our communities.
