Rotary Club of Montpelier awards community grants

The Rotary Club of Montpelier recently awarded community grants to 24 local organizations.

Rutland Regional Medical Center names four new board members

Rutland Regional Medical Center announced four new members have been elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. The new members include: Joseph Kraus, Chair of Project VISION; Dr. Richard Lloyd, President, College of St. Joseph; Michael Kenosh, MD Rutland Regional Medical Center and Michael Solimano, President and General Manager of Killington/Pico Golf & Ski Resort.

Norwich University to dedicate plaza to athlete, physician, humanitarian and soldier Dr Erasmus Arlington “Arlie” Pond

Norwich University officials will dedicate the west end of Sabine Field as Pond Plaza in honor of Dr. Erasmus Arlington “Arlie” Pond during a ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 23, during the annual April meeting of the university’s board of trustees. The memorial is made possible by the generosity of the Tawani Foundation.

BMH Rehab services adds new physical therapist

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital announced the addition of Angela Thomas, DPT, to its Rehabilitation Services staff.

Thomas just moved to the Brattleboro area after spending 20 years living in the southwestern United States. She holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and degrees in Educational Psychology and Physical Education from the University of Arizona. Thomas is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served five years as a Command and Control Journeyman.

North Star Leasing celebrates employee anniversaries

North Star Leasing has announced that they are recognizing employees who have achieved miestones in the company.

Debbie McCabe celebrated her 35th anniversary with North Star Leasing. Debbie has been a keystone member ever since this firm opened and can be attributed much of the success that the company has had. Debbie runs the Funding and Accounting Department for North Star Leasing.

Neil Sayers celebrated his 25th anniversary with North Star Leasing. Neil runs the collection department and is credited with maintaining the best collection success rate in the industry.
