KeyBank has hired Jeremiah “Jay” Vallieres as a Mortgage Account Officer. He is responsible for residential mortgage origination in Chittenden County.
Vallieres has more than 12 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer. Prior to KeyBank, he most recently served as a mortgage loan officer for People’s United Bank and Mortgage Financial, Inc. in Colchester, Vermont.
Vallieres is a graduate of Lyndon State College with a Bachelor of Arts in history and psychology.

SVC student receives national Newman Civic Fellow Award
Southern Vermont College (SVC) student Jaelyn Marshall of New York, N.Y., has been named a Newman Civic Fellow this year by Campus Compact, the national coalition of college and university presidents. She is one of 201 students from across the country including four others from Vermont colleges to receive this recognition.

Kurn Hattin Homes Select Choir wins top spot on WGBY's choral competition series
The children of the Kurn Hattin Homes Select Choir have again won a top spot on WGBY Public Television's choral competition series, Together in Song. The forty-member choir from the Vermont school for children in need will be one of only eight groups selected from 25 choruses from throughout New England to appear in the live televised finale on WGBY Springfield Sunday, April 26 at 7PM. Now in its fifth season, Together in Song highlights non-professional children’s and adults' choirs from around Western New England in various musical genres.
