Joe joins KW Vermont from REMAX North Professionals and will be expanding on his current management company Vision Property Management. Vision Real Estate Sales will now offer buying and selling services, along with the apartment management he has been offering for 10 years.

Volunteer services manager awarded credential by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration

Julia Page, Volunteer Services Manager at the University of Vermont Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center, has been awarded the credential “Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services” by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration. The CAVS is a national credential that distinguishes an individual as being among the elite in the field of volunteer management in healthcare.

Richard Morley of Central Vermont Medical Center named Champlain College's 2015 Distinguished Citizen

The 2015 Champlain College's Distinguished Citizen award goes to Richard R. Morley, vice president of support services at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC). Morley will receive the award from Champlain College President Donald J. Laackman and the Board of Trustees at the College's Convocation on Friday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. at Roger H. Perry Hall.

Morley will speak to the members of the incoming Class of 2019 as part of the College's Orientation Weekend ceremonies. This is the 54th year of the award, which honors community leaders in Vermont.

Dianna Benoit joins KW Vermont

Dianna Benoit, a Real Estate Sales Professional from Franklin, has joined KW Vermont.

Dianna Benoit is joining KW Vermont in our St. Albans office and will be working with both buyers and sellers. Dianna was recently on the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS “Rookie of the Year” team. Dianna is a native Vermonter with deep roots in Franklin County. She will be a huge asset in serving the northern part of the Vermont.

Winners of 34th Annual Winter in August Celebration announced

The Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce announced the Chef’s Best Taste Awards, Chef’s Best Presentation Award and People’s Choice Award at the 34th Annual Chamber Winter In August Celebration sponsored by Rutland Herald. This is the third year the Chamber established a "Chef led panel" of experts to determine the winners. The panel was made up of Chef Bill Noel, Chef Ben Layden, and Mike Clifford. The 9 criteria included everything from complimenting flavors to appeal to the eye. Restaurants were rated on a weighted point system and scored accordingly.

Vermont Public Health Association appoints new executive advisor

The Vermont Public Health Association has announced that it has hired Anthony Iarrapino as an Executive Advisor to guide the organization’s growth and increase its capacity as a leading voice in national, state, and local public health policy initiatives. Mr. Iarrapino, a private practice attorney, previously served as the campaign director of the Alliance for a Healthier Vermont, a statewide obesity prevention coalition, and as a longtime environmental advocate at the Conservation Law Foundation working on clean water, healthy forest, and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

PT360 expands with admin staff and athletic trainer

PT360 recently hired two administrative staff and an athletic trainer at their Williston location on Graham Way.

Wendy Rogers is an office administrator. Rogers comes to PT360 after working in education for many years. She is joined by Kathleen Casey, also an office administrator. Casey has a degree in psychology from St. Michaels’ College and another in elementary education and has spent the past 20 years working in both public and private settings with young children.
