With the hiring of Gina Kells, the Stern Center for Language and Learning continues to add to the already highly qualified and devoted instruction team at our Williston office. Kells received her certification as a Reading Specialist/Coordinator in 2012 and her certification in Elementary Education in 2004 from Johnson State College. She received her Master of Education from University of Bridgeport in 1994 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Franklin Pierce University in 1993. She has more than twenty years of experience in education and human services.

John Kiernan, P.E. has joined Otter Creek Engineering as senior project engineer. John is bringing over 20 years of water and wastewater engineering experience to strengthen the firm’s core business focus. John lives with his wife Erin and their three children in Shoreham.

The Stern Center for Language and Learning has announced the new addition of Anita Long to our Williston instruction and professional learning teams. Dr. Long received her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont in 2011 and her Master of Science degree in mathematics from University of New Hampshire in 1993. She began her collegiate career at Douglass College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1980. For more than 25 years, Dr.

Drawings and photographs by Williamstown artist Jan Rogers are currently on display in the Gifford Medical Center Art Gallery. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will run through October 28, 2015.

The twelve-piece exhibit features photographs and works in graphite, colored pencil, and pastel.

Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. has announced the promotion of Richard Marotta to President of Berkshire Bank and Sean Gray to Chief Operating Officer of the Bank.
