Senator Justin Morrill’s personal art collection exhibited at the annual Gallery in the Garden

The annual Gallery in the Garden art show and silent auction at the Senator Justin S. Morrill State Historic Site in Strafford this year includes house tours highlighting the senator’s personal art collection. The centerpiece of the tour is the newly restored portrait of Justin Morrill by Constantino Brumidi, on loan from the Morrill Memorial & Harris Library.

Girls HS golf state championship takes place at Montague Golf Club

Montague Golf Club in Randolph was host to the High School Girls State Golf Championship recently. Andy Wass and his staff who did an outstanding job having the golf course in terrific shape.

In Division I the team championship was won by North Country by one shot over Rutland.

The D1 medalist and State Champion is Chloe Levins from Rutland who shot a great round of 72 in very windy conditions.

High-end corporate furniture manufacturer WallGoldfinger of Vermont has expanded its sales representative team to Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey with the addition of experienced Philadelphia-based Facility & Design Resource (FDR).

USDA Rural Development and Windham & Windsor Housing Trust celebrate homeowners month at Putney resident's home

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Windham & Windsor Housing Trust (WWHT) recently celebrated National Homeownership Month at Putney resident Dennis Miller’s new home at Locust Hill Mobile Home Park. Miller is the first homeowner to purchase an energy efficient modular home through USDA Rural Development’s Energy Efficient Manufactured Home Pilot Program.

V/T personnel assist with latest commercial real estate transactions

V/T Commercial represented People's United Bank in the sale of the former Pine Ridge School campus in Williston. The sale included over 125 acres and 14 buildings comprised of approximately 68,000 square feet. The buyer was NETS Institute for Church Planting.
