Stowe names Business Person of the Year

The Stowe Area Association presented the Stowe Business Person of the Year award at their Annual Membership Dinner, which was held on June 15th at the Commodores Inn.

The Annual Stowe Business Person of the Year 2016 honor was awarded to David Wolfgang, owner of Pinnacle Ski & Sports, SkiEssentials.com, and Inner Bootworks. David has a long and eclectic history in the Stowe business community, and has proven to be an influential player in the development of Stowe as a tourist destination.

Gary Johnson officially on the Vermont ballot as the Libertarian presidential candidate

The Vermont Libertarian Party has received official notice from the Secretary of State’s office confirming that Gary Johnson and Bill Weld will appear as the Libertarian candidates for President and Vice President respectively on the General Election ballot in November.

The Vermont Libertaian Party also has nominated two candidates for state representative, Varpilah Chase for district Chittenden 8-1 (Essex) and Ted Schaft for district Rutland-2 (Proctor).
